In finishing the setup I verified two things about myself; I am tenacious and stubborn. I used a ready made template and I was determined to make it dance to my tune. I did get my way about the header but I think that I am going to follow the advice I found in "23 things on a stick News #1" which is to experiment with other templates. Maybe I can find one to make things much easier. So, Dear Reader, the flora and fauna of the Bookwyrm Bug may soon have a new hat. Am I mixing my metaphors? This is all new to me, so I have been out to other 23 blog sites and they are just so great you can tell that some have done this before.
But I will soldier on even if the spell check is not working, or that I could not post this from draft.

Welcome to 23 Things on a Stick. Yes, you can end up spending a lot of time editing templates and messing with settings-- but I get the impression that most of the SELS blogs are right straight from a template-- that not many people have been messing with them like you.
